FAQ

 

Q: How do I get the Swedish champion title?
A:
 For dogs who are already a show champion in another country (the Nordic countries excluded) the requirement is one certificate (CAC) at a show in Sweden after 24 months of age. For dogs who are already a show champion in another Nordic country the requirement is one CAC at any age. For dogs who are not a show champion in another country, regardless of the owners residence, the requirements are three (3) CAC under two different judges, at least one of the CAC must be won after 24 months of age.


Q: How many CAC will be awarded?
A: Only one CAC per breed and sex. The CAC is awarded in best male/best bitch class. All dogs wich have been awarded CQ is allowed to participate in best male/best bitch class. CAC is given to the first placed dog in best male/best bitch class who is not already a Swedish champion.

Q: Can I get CAC even in junior- and veteran class?
A: Yes.

Q: Which titles are provided at these shows?
A: All the titles are listed here.

Q: Can I bring my puppy to the show?
A: Yes, but the puppy must be at least 4 months old and must have vaccination papers to show.

Q: I've heard that you have something called CQ in Sweden - what's that?
A: CQ means Certificate Quality. All dogs who get excellent AND the CQ can compete in best male/best bitch class. For the titles, and to compete in the finals, it is enough with EXC only.

Q: How do I enter for breeders class and/or progeny class?
A: You don't have to enter this classes yourself. Our show program enters all breeders classes and progeny classes. You only have to tell the ring steward at the show, if you are participating or not. 4 dogs in breeders class. 4 dogs and father/mother in progeny class.

Q: Can I show my neutered male?
A: Yes, but you must have a certificate which confirms that your male had two normally developed and positioned testicles after the age of six months. You have to give this certifiate to the ring steward before the judging starts for your class.

Q: My bitch is in heat! Can I show her?
A: Yes.

And please note that muzzled dogs may not be present at the show venue!
